In fact, the whole game is described as the “beginning of a new era” of Formula 1 games. Electronic Arts has revealed a lot of details about the production over the last few weeks. Compared to last year’s F1 2021 , almost all elements of the game have been improved and expanded. But let’s get back to today’s topic, i.e. the soundtrack.
A video of over twenty minutes has been released on YouTube in which developers from Codemasters present the new audio system. In addition, we also got to know the official soundtrack of the game, which consists of 33 songs. Below you will find the most important information shared in the film.
First of all , the creators recorded the sounds of the engines of individual cars in order to be able to transfer them to the game world. This means that Ferrari, Mercedes or Red Bull vehicles will make different sounds. Contact with our team will also add variety and authenticity on the track . If you’ve ever watched a Formula 1 race, you will surely know the distinctive team boss-driver connections.
The F1 22 uses real microphones and headphones with both sides to record lines . Thanks to this, we will be able to feel like a real car driver. In addition, the game will include a broadcast mode, where an announcer will lead the voice from the track. Of course, in this case, also authentic commentator’s equipment was used.

In the case of following the gameplay from this perspective, the developers made every effort to ensure that the game sounds and looks like a real movie . On July 1, the game will officially debut on the market in versions for personal computers and Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles .
